Process principle
Molecular sieve adsorption method is a kind of technology which uses molecular sieve to adsorb and desorb ethanol vapor. Molecular sieve material is a kind of hard clay, which is made into granular or spherical material with controlled size micropores. Using 3A zeolite, the pore size is 3a, water molecule is 2.8A and ethanol molecule is 4.4a. Because ethanol molecule is larger than water molecule, water molecule can be adsorbed in the pore, ethanol molecule can not be adsorbed and rejected. When the water containing ethanol vapor passes through the molecular sieve adsorption bed, the molecular sieve adsorbs the water, while the ethanol vapor passes through the adsorption bed and becomes the dry ethanol product.
