Technology Application:
Methanol and deionized water are mixed evenly. After vaporization and overheating, under certain conditions of temperature, pressure and catalyst, mixed raw material for reforming reaction to produce reforming gas containing H2, CO and CO2. After pressure swing adsorption(PSA) separation and purification, high purity hydrogen product is prepared.
The adsorbents used in PSA and TSA industry are usually solid particles which have larger surface area, mainly are: the activated alumina, activated carbon, silica gel and molecular sieve. The most important physical characteristics of adsorbents are including pore volume, pore size distribution, surface area, surface properties, etc. Different kinds of adsorbents have different pore size distribution, different specific surface area and different surface properties, so each component in the mixed gas has different adsorption capacity.
This adsorption characteristics: adsorb impurities far stronger than product gas , so that the impurities in the gas can be removed we. The adsorption properties of various gas is mainly evaluated by adsorption isotherm from experiments. Excellent performance and large adsorption capacity is the basic condition to realize the separation by adsorption.
